Together Forever

Today the Pilkington family became an Eternal family!!!!!!!!!!!! what an amazing experience, I have never felt the spirit so much!

We started our 3 hour journey to the temple yesterday and stayed the night with my wonderful and beautifully pregnant sister Jo, her husband Mark and their beautiful daughter Eden, we had a wonderful evening together and Jo helped me to press my dress and prepare for this special day by eating far too much!

When we got up this morning the sun was shining more than it has in a while... so much for a summer this year... rain rain rain so far, we headed down to the temple and the closer we got, the darker the sky became.

I got to wear my wedding dress again... It was such a wonderful experience, being sealed together has been our goal for a year now and we made it... together forever! it is such a peaceful and special feeling to know that we are going to be together forever! And to pray together in the celestial room was the most amazing prayer ever uttered... our family is eternal now and it is so exciting to know that our children, when they choose to arrive, will be with us forever!

We had lots of photos taken in the rain and then had a tasty picnic with some of our friends, what a wonderful day! Words truely cannot describe how we feel tonight, how happy we are and how grateful we are for everyone who helped us to get here! And most of all we love God! and are so happy to spend eternity together!
